Nicholas-Alloway-ParentsNicholas Alloway

Nicholas is a loving child and is always ready for hugs. He cannot walk, talk, or eat. Nicholas requires constant assistance, has a feeding tube and is on many medications. His seizures can happen anytime and can be violent leaving him breathless and lethargic for days.

Nicholas is nine years old and was diagnosed in 2009 with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome and Autism. He suffers from extreme seizures and requires constant care from family and nurses.

The Alloway family lives in Collingdale, PA, and has financial need due to costs for care and assistive equipment and limited work hours as a result of the around the clock care needed for Nicholas as well as frequent hospital visits.

Brynlee Lawlar

Brynlee Lawlar

Brynlee is 5 years old and lives in Prospect Park with her mother, Lisa, and father, Mike. Mike recently retired from the Army, having served tours in Afghanistan and Korea. Brynlee is a happy child who enjoys playing outside with friends and with her favorite toy "Shopkins."

In October 2016 Brynlee was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, known as Philadelphia Chromosome Positive Pre B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Brynlee's Leukemia is currently in remission, but this form of cancer requires ongoing treatment and chemotherapy and she will be receiving chemo and other drug therapies for two years. Philadelphia chromosome–positive (Ph+) Leukemia is extremely difficult to treat and typically has a less successful outcome due to the higher chance of recurrence.

Kisses for Kyle

Kisses For Kyle - Yachtstock 2015 Beneficiary & Partner

After a very successful fundraising campaign in 2014, raising over $22,000, Yachtstock felt the need to add an additional beneficiary to our 2015 charity efforts. After meeting with representatives for Kisses For Kyle, a charity established in the Philadelphia region in 2001, we knew we had found not only an excellent beneficiary but also an active partner for our 2015 RiverJam campaign.

Kisses For Kyle: Their Story

In 1998, Kyle Snyder was just three weeks shy of his second birthday when he was diagnosed with Leukemia. After a brave but brief eight-month fight, he lost his life to cancer. In 2001, his mother Sharon founded The Kisses for Kyle Foundation to honor Kyle's memory and to assist families in the Delaware Valley region who are battling childhood cancer.
