Jersey Girl Returns to Her Roots
Jersey girl goes to school in Central Florida, makes good, gets crowned beauty queen, then comes home to her roots. It would make a good song, and maybe Kate Judge will write it.
Kate joins an exciting roster of talent appearing at the Yachtstock RiverJam June 15th in Essington, PA. The annual event is dedicated to raising funds for children will chronic illnesses and in 2013 proceeds benefit Shriners Hospitals Philadelphia.
Kate Judge is a 26-year old musician who has been studying classical piano for twenty years. She has been blessed with opportunities to sing the National Anthem at the Florida Citrus Bowl, Amway Arena for the Orlando Magic, Wells Fargo Center for the Philadelphia Soul and at WMMO’s Downtown Concert Series for over 300,000 audience members. Kate was recently selected as the opening act for recording artists Dave Barnes, Anberlin, J. Cole, We the Kings, Blues Traveler, Spin Doctors and many others.
Kate grew up in Southern New Jersey and relocated to Florida where she attended University of Central Florida on a music scholarship and remained in Orlando to continue her music career and obtained a Masters Degree in Counseling, with her research in Music Therapy. Kate is a proud member of the Miss America Organization and competed in the Miss Florida Scholarship Pageant, winning the Talent Award as Miss Largo 2011.
